Results BCD Holdings 2006

Autonomous growth and the acquisition of TQ3 Travel Solutions Management Holding GmbH and The Travel Company earlier in the year led to an increase in sales volume for BCD Holdings from U.S.$ 5 billion to almost U.S.$ 9 billion in 2006. Including partners and franchisees collaborating under the new brand name BCD Travel, the company achieved a sales volume exceeding U.S.$ 13 billion last year.
In many areas, integration of BCD Travel, the corporate travel company formed in 2006, is complete, even in the five countries where three separate organizations formerly operated.
The 2006 EBITDA rose to a record height of U.S.$ 123 million, an increase of 35% over the 2005 EBITDA of U.S.$ 91 million.
“In 2007, autonomous growth will generate a further, modest increase in sales volume. At the same time, continuing technological changes in Europe may engender additional adjustments to our organization”, Joop Drechsel, CEO of BCD N.V. said, voicing his expectations for this year’s developments.
