Results BCD Holdings 2007

Zeist, The Netherlands, January 9, 2008

Autonomous growth and acquisitions in six countries in the past year increased BCD Holdings’ sales volume to almost U.S.$ 10,4 billion in 2007. Including partners and franchisees collaborating under the brand name BCD Travel, the company achieved a sales volume exceeding U.S.$ 13 billion in 2007.

In many areas the integration of BCD Travel, the corporate travel company formed in 2006, has further been enhanced, in particular through applied technologies and specialist services for business travelers. In September 2007 the international headquarters of BCD Travel were transferred from Atlanta, U.S.A., to the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

The 2007 EBITDA rose to a record height of almost U.S.$ 120 million. This result is, as previously announced, excluding the financial services group of BCD Holdings which has been deconsolidated.

“In 2008, autonomous growth will generate a further, modest increase in sales volume. At the same time, continual investments in network technology throughout our organization, gave us considerable cost savings, as well as sophisticated product and service offerings. Today, 90% of our processing is through applied technologies. Our global network gives us offices everywhere and yet, right next to our clients”, said Joop Drechsel, CEO of BCD N.V. and, as of January 1, 2008, also CEO of BCD Travel.

“We are delighted to currently have owned operations in 30 countries and a partnership network in 60 other countries. They form a good jumping-off point for future expansion, where we will be focusing on the emerging markets in the Asia-Pacific region”, said John Fentener van Vlissingen, chairman of BCD Holdings N.V.
